BPM Magazine asked us to submit a playlist for their new competition Kia For Your Soul Playlist Battle. We're up against other fellow blogs, producers and DJ's. The winner scores a trip to SXSW in March and gets to go up against a top DJ in a playlist battle (not quite sure how that works). If we just so happen to win were going to give away the prize of a double pass to one of our lucky readers.

German electropop outfit Boytronic were putting out tracks from the early 80's to 2002.
This track is straight fire, the start always gets me bouncing my shoulders.

A bonus track on Q-Tip's new album Renaissance found only on the UK release and is produced by the late J Dilla.
The album is one of the best hip hop albums I've heard this year. Go buy it and support real music, rather than the bullshit were constantly getting fed.

Here at Bayaship'n we love Fifa and every year they manage to throw out a solid soundtrack.
Last year it had tracks from Digitalism, SMD and my personal favourite Art Brut's Direct Hit. This year has music from The Bloody Beetroots, The Twelves, Cut Copy and Soulwax just to name a few. So everyone should have a copy regardless if u like Fifa or not. Having thrown in these biggg names into the mix, im sure your all going to expect me to post something from one of the names above, but im going to take the high road here and give you Junkie XL's Mad Pursuit and a grand remix by Anoraak.
